This is the fourth release from Stars in Coma and also the fourth release from Molokini. "Velvet Mountains" was written and recorded in the period of a week and this EP shows new sides of Stars in Coma/André Brorsson. In the world of SiC, this is actually the first time every song was written for a specific project. The first thought André had was to do a homemade, computer-age, DIY country-sounding record. Well, some songs echo bands like Essex Green's most country-inspired songs, but you can also see the final result as a bunch of new Stars in Coma songs with those catchy melodies you all love to hear over and over again.
